This Handbook is designed for the nonspecialist engineer, scientist, or technician involved with designing equipment, systems, or structures for the ocean, or involved in their installation and operation. It brings together information that was scattered among many government reports, specialty journals, and manufacturers' catalogs, and unpublished or previously unrecorded information that was held by practitioners of ocean engineering.
